Pam Gallaway MSW, RYT500, TIYT

Meet Pam! (she/her)
Pam is a life-long resident of Amarillo and has worked and served as a community volunteer as a bereavement facilitator at the Hope and Healing place and has worked with refugee communities for the past twenty years. She is actively involved in community building projects. Pam’s training is grounded in the yogic traditions, science and research. A whole person approach is a practice that she will utilize with her clients, and it may incorporate an integrative practice with asana, myofascial release, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. She is an ardent advocate for the empowering practice of yoga and its ability to bring you back home to yourself and to live a more vibrant life. Pam is compassionate, friendly, and inclusive and a friend to all.

Pam has been practicing yoga for many years. Meeting her clients where they are (no yoga experience is needed) and realizing that yoga is not a one size fits all practice is empowering. Listening and compassion is a quality that Pam brings to all her clients. She is dedicated to sharing with her clients the power of moving the body, quieting the mind, connecting to the breath which greatly enhances one’s quality of life. Pam has successfully worked with individuals who suffer from Long Covid, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and trauma recovery. Combining personal insight, extensive training and a wholehearted belief that the benefits of a yoga practice can awaken others to their own healing powers.

“Yoga therapy focuses on the person first and is a safe way of working with natural capacities of your body and mind for optimal health. The yogic model of health is unique because it addresses the whole person and addresses every aspect of life.”
